He disclosed this via his Instagram stories, last Tuesday, June 30, 2020. While it is skeptical that he would release the project this time, this is the first time he would confirm the collaborations.
Wizzy announced that the album would feature artistes such as Burna Boy, Tems, Starboy Terri, Damian Marley (Jamaican), Ella Mai (British), Projexx (Jamaican), H.E.R. (American), Tay Iwar, and Skepta (British Nigerian).
He also disclosed his sound production and engineering team to be BlaqJerzee, Juls (British Ghanaian), Dro (American), London, Sarz, Mutay, and Kel P.
After thanking everyone who worked on the album, Wizkid wrote, “16/7…” He also praised his forthcoming album to be “the best (compilation project) he has ever made.”
Meanwhile, Burna Boy’s fifth studio album, titled ‘Twice As Tall’, and Davido’s fourth studio album, titled “A Better Time” are also slated for release this month.
These three, at the moment, are among the highest streamed artistes in the continent.
