Nigerian record label owner, Singer, and Business mogul, Larry Gaaga released the visuals for “Owo ni koko” featuring Umu Obiligbo on 25th August, 2020.
Although the title of the song, “Owo ni koko” means “Excess wealth” in Yoruba language, the lyrics are in Igbo.
So, teaming up with High-life crooner, Umu Obiligbo, this is a cultural trip of nostalgia. Beyond sounds that transports you into a bar in the eastern part of Nigeria, the video showcases heritage and style.
From the display of the Ogene dance to the style showcase of Isi agu attire, “Owo ni koko” already looks like a bar favourite.
