Nigeria’s Fireboy DML’s track “Scatter “has been announced as part of the FIFA 21 official soundtrack, among others.
This makes him the only Nigerian-based act in the official soundtrack set for launch across the globe for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 9, 2020,
There will be two distinct FIFA 21 soundtracks. The second is a music collection to be played as a feature in the game ‘Volta.’
The ‘Volta’ soundtrack will feature grime, electronic, and hip-hop music. Some other Nigerian artists will also be featured on this soundtrack, including Rema [Beamer and Bad Boys], Dave x Burna Boy [Location],’ Ms. Banks, and Nnena.
On October 1, more than 100 soundtrack artists will be coming together to celebrate the upcoming launch of FIFA 21 in the FIFA World Premiere set for October 6, 2020.
Once again, we have seen African acts extending the frontiers of excellence on international vanguard through their music.
