Chefchaouen is the name. It is one of the most beautiful places in Morocco. It is particularly known for being filled with bluewashed houses and ancient but beautiful alleys.

7. Morocco has a national costume called a “Djellaba”

It is a unisex, one-piece coverall with a hood. Some have incredibly detailed and ornate needlework sewn into them.

Rabat is the capital of Morocco, but it’s only the 7th largest city in the country. Casablanca is the largest city with more than 3.7 million residents.

2. It’s the only exporter of Argan Oil

If you’re an avid user of hair and skincare products, you have likely used some product containing Argan Oil, one of the holy grails of beauty. Argan Oil comes from the Argan tree, which is only found in Morocco.

1. The national motto of Morocco is “Allah, Al Watan, Al-Malik”.
