Darey releases his 2020 debut EP titled “Way Home, “ featuring Nigerian artists, Teni and Patoranking.
‘Way Home’ is a 7-track EP embodying R’n’B, Pop, Afrofusion, and dancehall. This is coming after ‘Jah Guide Me‘ and ‘Jojo, ‘his come back songs after a long hiatus.
Dare Art Alade, professionally known as Darey, is a multiple award-winning and multi-platinum Afro-Soul/R&B singer, songwriter, music producer, and entrepreneur. He is also the son of the legendary African Jazz Musician and entertainer Art Alade.
He gained popularity from the 2004 season of the Music talent show, Project Fame. Since then, Darey has made an unfading impact on the Nigerian and African music scene.
He has released several hit singles like “Escalade,”; “Carry Dey Go,” “Not The Girl.” “Pray For Me” and so on, featuring diverse award-winning artists. His albums “unDAREYted,” (2009), “Double Dare” (2011) and ‘Naked‘ (2015) have also gained him a huge network of fans across Africa and the diaspora.
As an extraordinary artist, Darey has performed alongside some of the World’s most notable music acts, including Beyoncé, Wizkid, Jay Z, Ciara, Cardi B, Burna Boy, Sean Paul, Usher, R Kelly, Akon, Lionel Richie, and many more.
