Kai Collective Ends 2020 With A Bang. See New Gaia Designs And More!

Fisayo Longe is rounding off the year with stunning releases from Kai Collective.

Since 2020 began, Kai Collective has been making huge strides and we are here for it! From the famous Gaia dress to getting endorsed by Beyoncé, this Black-Owned fashion brand has a string of masterpieces.

Earlier this week, Fisayo Longe (Founder & Creative Head) posted a teaser about the final drop for the year, featuring beautiful models of varying ages and sizes. The Gaia dress, as expected, took centre stage in all its mesh glory, enhanced with new designs. You can also see Kai Collective’s inclination for striking patterns, solid hues, and fabrics with a silky feel.

The release of this stunning collection is way sooner than you expect, like today soon! At 5 pm GMT today, all of these would be available to shop on kaicollective.com.

Like I mentioned earlier, the Gaia dress is making a comeback, and this time, it is in striking red. The famous dress will keep its original mesh design but will also be available in luscious velvet fabric. In the words of Fisayo Longe, “This is Gaia, re-imagined.”

Another piece that we are looking forward to is the ‘Irun’ Dress, a brand new release modelled by the gorgeous @noniyah. Irun is a Yoruba word for ‘Hair’ so we can expect that there is a story to be told. The new design also comes in pants and skirt sets.

So, is this a countdown to one of the biggest fashion statements of 2020? We are anticipating, and super glad for the growth of Kai Collective. Now in its fourth year since inception in 2016, this brand has set the pace for Black-owned businesses on a global map.
