Word on the street is, Beyoncé will be dropping a second Ivy Park collection come October 30!

Yesterday, Beyoncé shared an image of a field of flowers on her Instagram, saying, “THIS IS MY PARK.” Tagging Ivy Park and partner Adidas, she added in the caption; “Drip 2 October 30.’
Ivy Park is an activewear brand co-founded by Beyoncé and Sir Philip Greene in 2016. It features an eclectic range of sportswear from tops to bottoms, swimsuits and accessories. Speaking with Elle Magazine at the launch, Beyoncé talked about the brand’s objectives. In her words, Ivy Park exists to “push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance.”
The name Ivy is inspired by her daughter Blue Ivy Carter. ‘Park‘ on the other hand, signifies Parkwood Park in Houston, where Bey used to go for exercise, but also became a place to draw strength from.
After a hiatus, Ivy Park announced a collaboration with Adidas on April 4, 2019. This relaunch included performance gear, shoes, and lifestyle apparel. Predictably, the build-up to the official launch was massive, with Bey sending out gift boxes to celebrities to promote the brand. By January 2020, the collection got sold out hours after its pre-sale launch.
After such a successful collaboration, the world is curious as to what Bey is up to with this unofficial announcement, and so soon too! Like, next week soon.
Earlier this month, Ivy Park x Adidas had announced the launch of their new shoe collaboration. Could this latest “teaser” be an extension of that collaboration or is it a whole new collection?
Either way, Beyoncé has promised a ‘drip’ and on the last day of this month, it’s on!
